Vintage Haïk Berber Blanket, 320 x 165 cm
Description
This Berber blanket was hand-woven in the mountains of the Middle Atlas approximately 30 years ago. The blanket is of exceptional weaving quality and consists of a blend of wool and cotton.
Can be used as a blanket on the sofa, as a bed cover or even as a tablecloth.
Size: 320 cm x 165 cm, single piece.
The blanket is vintage and in excellent condition.
History: Berbers are the indigenous people of North Africa and a freedom-loving people. Her actual name is 'Amazigh', pronounced Amazirr (plural: Imazighen).
It means 'free people'. The term Berber comes from the Greek word barbaros and is not very flattering.
